The SOLAS Task Teams have the responsibility of conducting research surrounding specific scientific themes that are set out by the Scientific Steering Committee. There are three principal research topics which are currently being investigated.

• Halogens in the Troposphere Task Team (HitT)

• Air-Ice Chemical Interactions (AICI) Task Team

• Organic Aerosols Task Team

• Asian Dust and Ocean EcoSytems (ADOES)
