Opportunities

Map-based overview of ongoing and past research projects on ocean acidification
The SOLAS-IMBER Ocean Acidification working group is developing a web-based, interactive database of ocean acidification research. The goal of the project is to provide a map-based overview of ongoing and past research. Prior to release of the web site researchers can contribute ocean acidification locations for inclusion in the site and suggestions for web site features. Click here for more information.

Southern Ocean Observing System (SOOS) plan
The SOOS plan is now available for community comment and can be downloaded from the SCAR website. All interested parties are encouraged to provide feedback to soos@scar.org before the 1 October 2010, after which a final version will be produced.

Fulbright Scholar Program
The 2011-12 program for US Faculty and Professionals is now open. For more information about this and all Fullbright programmes see http://www.iie.org/cies
