The SOLAS International Project Office is pleased to announce the arrival of Kath Mortimer as Project Officer based in the SOLAS Nodal Office in Norwich, UK. Kath is taking over from the current Project Officer, Sophie Seeyave, who will be leaving at the end of June.

Kath has a background in Science Communication and Project Management and one of her first tasks will be compiling the 11th Issue of "SOLAS News" which will focus on the SOLAS mid-term strategy.

Kath is your first point of contact if you would like to announce SOLAS related news or events on the website (www.solas-int.org) or e bulletins and will also be co-ordinating COST Action 735 activities.
