Costs

We have defined the information on costs into the following sections:

• Registration Fee
• Travel
• Subsistence
• Accommodation

Registration Fee

Payment of the registration fee of 450euros will be required from each student. This covers:

• Lunches and coffee breaks on teaching days
• Buffet and drinks during the evening poster sessions
• Dinner on one of the day of the school
• Access to internet room at the institute
• On-site transport required by the school programme
• Organised bus from and to Ajaccio airport on arrival and departure days
• Your own copy of the SOLAP textbook

Travel

This table gives you the approximate cost of return travel between Ajaccio, Corsica and the relevant country, in euros.

Subsistence

You should budget for around 25 euros a day for breakfast and an evening meal, as we will provide lunch at the institute (except on our rest day; see 'Schedule' webpage within our 'Programme' drop-down menu above).

Accommodation

Accommodation either at the intitute or in the village of Cargèse will be booked for all attendees. (see 'Accommodation' webpage within the 'Logistics' drop-down menu above for further details). The cost of accommodation is defined below. These figures are the approximate costings for 12 nights accommodation.

Accommodation at the institute and in the village will ONLY be available the nights of 29 August till 9 September inclusive. If you plan to arrive early or depart late both the institute and village accommodation will be booked for other summer schools. Please bear this in mind when planning your travel.
