The 3rd SOLAS Summer School was held from 22 October to 03 November 2007, once again at the Institut d'Etudes Scientifiques de Cargèse on the West coast of the French island of Corsica. The school welcomed 66 PhD students and early career scientists from 18 countries from a wide range of scientific backgrounds, covering all of the SOLAS topics.
The summer school offered young researchers the opportunity to participate in lectures and practical courses held by 16 international experts to broaden their knowledge on all aspects of SOLAS science. In addition, the school provided an excellent opportunity to establish and strengthen future collaborations with SOLAS scientists from all over the world.
