The SOLAS Summer School is held at the Institut d'Études Scientifiques de Cargèse, Corsica. Cargèse is a little village, 50 km north of Ajaccio (capital city) and has approximately 1000 inhabitants. The institute has been specially constructed for these types of meetings. It is located close to the beach at walking distance (20 min. via the main road, 15 min. via a 'goat path', bring good shoes and a torch) from the village of Cargèse.
