The SOLAS Summer School is a biennial, international event that aims to teach the skills and knowledge of the many disciplines needed to understand the nature of ocean-atmosphere interactions and how to link ocean-atmosphere interactions with climate and people. Deadline for applications is the 6 November 2020.
The Summer School 2021 under the COVID-19 situation
In light of the current COVID-19 situation, we have developed a contingency plan for the school. We will postpone the school if the situation worsens and travel is no longer possible. Please note that you MUST know your own institution’s/country’s policy on travel when applying. We cannot help you determine whether you are allowed to attend the school due to COVID-19 restrictions.
PLEASE NOTE: If you apply for the Summer School 2021 and are accepted, your acceptance will automatically carry over to the new date of the school in the event of postponement.

The Summer School 2021 is located on Cape Verde, approx. 600 km off the coast of West Africa.
